I never planned to build Spendify.
It started as a Google Sheet.
I was paying off debt and wanted to know exactly where I stood. Not just my balances, but the real numbers. How much interest was I actually paying each month? When would I be done if I kept going at this pace? What would happen if I threw an extra $200 at it?
So I built a spreadsheet to figure it out. And it worked. For the first time, I could see my exact debt-free date. I knew how much interest I was paying. I could run scenarios and see how different choices would change my timeline.
Then I looked at the finance apps everyone recommends.
They're good at showing you data. Balances, transactions, spending categories, pretty charts. But when you're done looking at the dashboard, then what? You have all this information, but no direction. No plan. No answer to "what should I actually do?"
That's the gap. Most finance apps are built to track. Spendify is built to plan.
We're calling it the best financial app because we think it actually is. And we stand by it. Here's why.
Other apps show you where your money went. Spendify shows you where it should go. Your debt-free date. Your monthly interest breakdown. Your payoff strategy comparison. Your money allocation plan. The actual next steps, not just the data.
That Google Sheet I built for myself? Spendify is the automated, smarter version of it. Everything updates automatically. No manual entry. No formulas to maintain. Just your financial plan, always current.
We built this because we needed it. And if you've ever stared at your finance app wondering "okay, but what do I do now?" then you probably need it too.
